PURPOSE
The Shelia Daniels Christian Academy was founded with the purpose of offering every child with a traditional and Christian centered educational setting for the cultivation of knowledge, creativity, character and wisdom. Through the word of truth, this ministry will prepare leaders of tomorrow who are able to stand firm in their own faith and bring Christ-honoring truth to a needing world.
ARTICLES OF FAITH
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
2. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in the persons of Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
3. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and victory.
4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.
5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
7. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling, the Christian is able to live a godly life.
STANDARDS OF CONDUCT
Members and staff of the Shelia Daniels Christian Academy are required to abstain from smoking, sexual immorality, gambling, using liquor in any form, viewing movies, videos or television programs that are “R” or “X” rated, and attending meetings of secret societies. We believe that these practices do not contribute to spiritual growth and development and would destroy a Christian’s personal testimony and damage the testimony of the ministry with it’s students, for whom the faculty/staff are role models, and the surrounding community.
Subscribe without reservation to the Articles of Faith and the Standards of Conduct. I also understand that in regard to the employment application, any misrepresentation, omission, or misleading statement may result in termination of employment. I will authorize the Shelia Daniels Christian Academy, to contact a list of references as well as my current or previous pastor.
